Goran Milić

Goran Milić is a Croatian and Yugoslavian journalist. He was born in Zagreb in 1946 to a Yugoslavian ambassador family. In 1970 he began his career at the Radio-Television Belgrade. From 1980 to 1985 he worked as a reporter for Radio-Television Belgrade in New York. After that, until 1988, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Journalism at the Belgrade University. He was president of the Commission for Information at the Universiade in Zagreb in 1987. In 1989 he was a spokesman for the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Belgrade. From 1990 to 1992 he led the Yugoslav television daily YUTEL. From 1992 to 1997 he working for the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1997 he was employed on the Croatian Radio Television (HRT). In 2002 he got his own show on HRT. Since 2004 he's worked on the Sunday daily at HRT. He has attracted attention for his travelogues from Europe, Russia, North America, Asia, Australia and South America. He is a speaker of multiple languages including English, French, Spanish and Italian. He was named Best Journalist in Croatia in 2007.[1][2][3]

Since 2011 Goran Milić is the editor of Al Jazeera Balkans.[4][5]
